ABSTRACTPsalm 91 is often chosen as one of the references of believers to seek God's protection against Covid-19.  Psalm 91 often being choosen by believer to ask for protection from Covid-19. Psalm 91 truly offered promises of protection, safety, and assurance to the people who follow the rule in the teks. The problem arose when Psalm 91 intrepreted in a wrong way. Wrong interpretation from Psalm 91 could make believer feels invincible from disease or doubt to the promise the promises did not match with the reality around them: believers and even pastors contracted the disease and some of them passed away due to the disease. This could create a form of distrust and doubt God’s promise. This research used a qualitative approach and grounded theory method. This research compared receptive history intrepretation, structural and canonic interpretation, also Christological interpretation. This reseach found that the correct way to interpret Psalm 91 is directed to dependency on God who allow this hard time happen. Thus, Psalm 91 can be reference in pray on Covid-19 pandemic period.
