DARI ISTANA MENUJU PLATFORM: HERMENEUTIK MISIONAL ESTER BAGI CONTENT CREATOR KRISTEN
Abstract
The development of the creator economy and algorithmic culture has transformed the ways individuals construct identity, produce content, gain visibility, and exercise influence in digital spaces. Amid these opportunities, Christian content creators face various pressures which may lead to a crisis of purpose and a shift from meaning-oriented creativity toward performance-oriented production. This study aims to construct a theological framework for Christian content creators. The research method uses a narrative-missional hermeneutic of the Book of Esther. The findings demonstrate that Esther's position as queen was not merely a status or personal privilege but became a space of stewardship and calling through which she participated in God's work for the salvation of her people. Based on this reading, the study proposes the Esther Missional Framework, consisting of five major dimensions: identity, calling, discernment, courage, and mission. This framework shifts the orientation of Christian content creators from pursuing popularity toward faithfulness to their calling. Digital platforms are not understood as sources of identity or ultimate ends, but as spaces of stewardship that can be utilized to participate in God's mission. Therefore, the success of Christian content creators should not be measured solely by reach, engagement, and monetization, but primarily by faithfulness, integrity, relationships, and the missional impact generated for individuals and communities.
